Practical AI for Mediators: How to Use Artificial Intelligence to Streamline and Strengthen Your Practice

Practical AI for Mediators is a three-hour interactive webinar designed to help mediators understand and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance their professional effectiveness. The program introduces AI applications that support case scheduling, client intake, research, document preparation, and post-session surveys. Participants learn how to use AI responsibly to increase efficiency and organization while maintaining the confidentiality and neutrality that define professional mediation practice.
This program also explores the ethical and human dimensions of technology in dispute resolution. Through practical demonstrations and live exercises, participants experience how AI can simplify administrative tasks, improve communication, and support informed decision-making. By integrating technology with human judgment and empathy, mediators strengthen their professional competence and remain at the forefront of innovation within the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for three hours of continuing education.

Trending Topics in Probate Mediation

This three-hour continuing education course will help mediators strengthen their knowledge of probate law and procedure for use during probate mediations. We will discuss the following topics during the training session: key legal concepts related to – developing the family tree, the various types of cases that are ordered to mediation ( year’s support, solemn form probate, letters of administration, adult guardianships and conservatorships), role of the County Administrator/County Guardian/County Conservator, role of the guardian ad litem and court-appointed attorney, financial powers of attorney and advance directives for health care. We will also discuss various mediation concepts in the context of probate cases – opening statements, confidentiality, distinguishing between legal advice and legal information, agreement writing tips and identifying and dealing with family conflict. The instructor will also provide tips and guidance from experienced probate mediators and probate judges to help you provide the parties with the most useful and meaningful mediation experience and provide the probate court with an agreement that meets all requirements of the court. The instruction will conclude with a discussion of new developments in probate mediation and an overview of helpful resources.
This course is approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for three hours of continuing education.
